Using CDM+ with Mac OS X 10.7 Lion

The latest releases of CDM+, beginning with version 9.0, are fully compatible with Lion.

All releases of CDM+ prior to CDM+ 9.0 are not compatible with Lion and will fail to run properly under Apple's newest operating system. If you choose to upgrade to Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, you must be running CDM+ 9.0 or later to access your CDM+ data. In addition, database conversions from any version of CDM+ 8.x to CDM+ 9.x are not possible under Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.

There are two options for you to convert your data to CDM+ 9.x from version 8.x. First, you can perform the conversion before upgrading to Lion. Once you are up and running in CDM+ 9.x under your current version of Mac OS X, you can install Lion and continue to work in CDM+ 9.x. The second option is to send your data to Suran Systems, Inc. for conversion. This process is straightforward and is your only option to convert 8.x data to CDM+ 9.x if you have already installed Lion. There is a $50 fee for the conversion service and conversion normally takes less than one business day. Contact CDM+ technical support to schedule conversion of your CDM+ 8.x data to CDM+ 9.x.

If you are using any version of CDM+ 8.x and your annual Premier Support membership is current, you are entitled to download CDM+ 9.x free of charge.
