Click on the Training tab at the top of any page on this website. (Or, click Group Online Training directly from the User Resources page. If you do this, skip to Step 4 below.)
Click on Group Online Training. It's the last link in the sub-menu just below the top row of tabs.
This brings up the Group Online Training mini site, a section of our website packed with information. Explore any or all of the tabs on the left-hand side of the page to learn more FAQs about Group Online Training or to see detailed descriptions of all the classes we offer.
When you have explored all you want:
Click on View Schedule/Register. It's the last tab on the menu at the left.
This brings up a Login Screen.
Enter the User Name and Password you previously set up for accessing the secure parts of our website. Note that this may be different from the user name and password that gets you into your database.
If you log in successfully with the User Name and Password you enter, skip to Step 8 below.
If you have forgotten your User Name and/or Password or you are not sure if you have set them up, go on to Step 5.
Click Forgot Your Login?. Only click Register a New User if we do not have you listed as a contact for your church. If you are not sure whether or not we have you listed as a contact, try Forgot Your Login? first.
Enter your full e-mail address. AOL users, this includes "@aol.com".
If your login information and the e-mail address you entered is in our records, you will receive your login information at that e-mail address within minutes. Log in and go to Step 8.
If we recognize your e-mail address but we do not have login information for you, a new screen will appear. Go to Step 7.
If we did not recognize the e-mail address you entered, try another e-mail address. If you have no more e-mail addresses to try, please call support at 800-633-9581 and we will help you register.
Create a User Name and Password. Enter whatever User Name and Password you can remember (no set number of letters or numbers) and go to Step 8.
After a brief loading period, a list of currently scheduled classes appears. The top of the page will have your church's information, including the number of Training Credits you may apply toward the cost of classes. Click the Checkbox to the left of each class you want to register for. Then click Continue.
Please note:
Enter the information asked for on the next screen. This must include a valid e-mail address to which we can e-mail instructions for joining the online class(es). This does not have to be the same e-mail address you used to log in, but it does need to be one that will allow incoming e-mail from support@cdmplus.com and training@cdmplus.com. Please include these 2 addresses in your "approved" list of e-mail senders so that the instructions we send you do not get marked as spam.
Complete the registration process by following the onscreen instructions, which are self-explanatory. Note that you may not see that Training Credits have been applied to the cost of the training until you get to "Balance Due." The balance shown should reflect any credits you choose to apply (you are not required to use all the credits you have).
Within minutes, you should receive an e-mail confirming your registration for each class. If you do not get the e-mail, call support at 800-633-9581. This is an indication that the actual class instructions will not reach you, either.
Approximately 24 hours before the class begins, you will receive a second e-mail. It will contain a link to a website called "Glance" and a code to enter on that website. It will also contain the phone number you will need to use to join the conference call for the audio part of your training. Note that the conference call is not toll-free. If you have a cell phone with minutes to spare, that is the most economical way to make the call. The training itself may be paid for with Training Credits, but you are responsible for the phone call.
As instructed in the previous e-mail, go to the Glance website a few minutes before the training is to begin, and enter the code. The trainer's monitor will appear on your monitor. Then dial the phone number and join the conference call. You will want to be in a fairly quiet place to take the training. Office noise can distract others on the conference call, especially if you have your phone on speaker so that several in your office can participate at once.
