Instructions for Joining a Group Online Class

PLEASE NOTE! All class times listed are Eastern time (our time zone). If you are in a Time Zone other than Eastern, be sure to make the necessary subtraction of hours from the class start time. For example, if you live in Chicago (Central time zone) the class starts 1 hour earlier than the time shown above.

To participate you will need to 1) connect via a high-speed Internet connection to a website to view the training screen; 2) join in a long distance conference phone call to hear the audio presentation. You do not need to have CDM+ on the computer you use for Group Online Training.

After registering for a class, you will receive an email confirmation that includes a link to join that CDM+ Group Online Training Class. Do not discard the email. Each class has it's own unique web link—do not try to use a link in an email from a different class.

1. 5-10 minutes before the start of the class, click the link in the email (or copy it and paste it in your web browser) to join the online class. You will see a welcome screen for the upcoming CDM+ Group Online Class. You are at the right web address!

NOTE! The web link to join the class will only be active for 10 minutes prior to and 5 minutes after the class start time.

If you registered for a class and cannot find the confirmation email with the web link 10 minutes before the class starts, first check your junk mail and then, if you still don't have the link to join the class, call 800-633-9581 for assistance.

Note: You will need to access the website with a Java-enabled web browser. Most versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Mozilla, Opera and Netscape have Java, although their performance may vary. For fast Glance viewing, you may install Sun's latest Java technology in your browser at www.java.com. If you are unsure as to whether you have Java installed, please check well before it is time to join the class to avoid missing it.

2. A few minutes before the class starting time, call this phone number: 605-477-3000 and enter the access code: 518347#. This will allow you join the conference call for the audio portion of the trainng.

You will be a part of a class that will have other churches connected for the training. Thank you for your courteous participation. (If you plan on using a speakerphone, please be aware that everyone in the class will be able to hear any noise or someone else talking in the room.)
