Suite-Wide Enhancements

• Full-featured, enterprise level, OpenBase© database server offers turn-key performance never before available in CDM+. Network access is accomplished via TCP/IP connections, rather than file sharing. Installation and configuration is fully automated, making CDM+ network setup a snap!

• Enhanced performance speed throughout the program. See our chart of the results of a few time tests between CDM+ 8.0 and the CDM+ 8.1 beta version. The tests were run on the same machine with the same data file and over the same network. Zoom, indeed!

• Full program installer size reduced from 34 MB to 17 MB.

• Personal preferences load quickly and will no longer be reset with each update of CDM+.

• New User Preference to set your keypad Enter key to act like the Tab key on certain financial entry windows.

• Scheduled program shut-down and backup capabilities within CDM+.

• Separate user permissions for Backup and Restore functions.

• All reports feature a Page Setup option and new Text File and Clipboard destinations. These both produce reports in a tab-delimited format that preserves the original columns and spacing when opened in a word processing or spreadsheet program. (Screen shot)

• When you re-size data entry windows, a moveable divider line allows you to expand the Find results list to show more items. The only limit is the size of your screen! (Screen shot)

• Advanced Find function throughout the program lets you query related records. For example, find Individual Records based on Attendance and Contributions in a single search. (Screen shots)

• Vendor, Employee and Customer Records can be linked to an Address Record.

• Ability to print the Grid. Expanded options in custom listings, exports and name badges, including Other Phone Numbers/E-mail Addresses, User-Defined Groups, and Other Information. Save frequently used sets of export/print fields. (Screen shot)

• Improved Custom Listing reports provide more control over content and appearance (applies to all Custom Listing reports throughout CDM+).

• More control over who can view Visitation and Pastoral Records; can set access on a per entry basis

• Print Name Badges from the Membership program. Letter Notices support embedded fields and text formatting. Track sent E-mail, Letter and Card Notices, which can be viewed en masse or on a per person basis.

• Contributions program supports multiple bank accounts per giver and allows you to change default entry modes during Batch Contributions Entry.

• Totally revamped Pledge/Estimate entry window now works like Batch Contributions and handles simple and complex pledges effortlessly.

• Option for Giving Statements to print detailed breakdown of each gift

• Duplicate invoice number alerts during Invoice Entry in Accounts Payable. Starting check numbers can be set for any asset, rather than loading from the highest check number found.
