This past fall 60% of our registered people used the web tools which, according to the admin staff, saved us about a half a day's worth of labor just getting that data input…
One of the other benefits we get from Web Ministry Tools is we get an automatic registration confirmation that goes out to the people that allows us to know, and for them to know, how much they'll pay for a class, or when the class might be happening or any other type of detail that we want to include. They get it immediately and it shows them how much they paid. It has just been a big asset for us. As far as collection of fees, it's all handled for us and I haven't even measured that time savings in the half day that it's already saving us and the registration information.
Personally, I work with a lot of volunteers and I like using the Web Ministry Tools for free events as well…free events for me like Easter. Typically, we'll have 600 people that will serve with us over the Easter services to get those services to happen, and it allows me to put that out there so people can register any day and any time. It allows them to know when I'm full on a shift automatically without having to do any data maintenance, and it just frees me up to be more of that community-minded pastor that I try to be with my people as opposed to having to be the person that runs all the data.
