Question:

Is CDM+ compatible with Microsoft Vista?

Answer:

Yes, CDM+ is compatible with Vista and will run fine with just a couple of simple settings to Properties. After you install CDM+ onto your Vista computer, there will be a shortcut on the Desktop. Right-click the CDM+ shortcut and select Properties. In the Properties window, click on the Compatibility tab at the top.

At the top of this window, put a check in the checkbox that says, “Run this program in compatibility mode for.” Make sure the drop down is set for “Windows XP (Service Pack 2).”

Toward the bottom of the window, put a check in the checkbox for “Run this program as an administrator.” If this area is grayed out, then you will need to enable User Access Control. You will find the steps to do that as well as screenshots for all the steps above by clicking here.

With both of these checkboxes checked, click the OK button and you are ready to use CDM+ in Vista.
